Dane Ortlund, writing about the character of God in Gentle and Lowly, says that divine mercy is “ready to burst forth at the slightest prick.” We believe prayer is what releases it. Scripture promises that the gospel will go to every people group before the end (Matthew 24:14), and that every tribe and tongue will stand before the throne (Revelation 7:9). We are asking God to use us in that story.
