In our most recent independently reviewed year, 76 cents of every dollar went to program work: training leaders, planting churches, and running our bible school in Kajo Keji. Yes. We have several current projects that accept designated gifts; email info@empower-one.org and we’ll walk you through the options. If a project ever raises more than it needs, surplus funds may be allocated to other projects at Empower One’s discretion, as described in our terms.

We follow ECFA Standard 7.2: because contributions must be irrevocable to qualify for a charitable deduction, there is generally no basis to return a gift. On rare occasions we may refund a gift that was clearly made in error.

Online gifts are processed by Funraise, our giving platform. Your card details go to their secure payment system and are never stored on our website. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information.

We equip local leaders in the hard places of Africa to establish churches among unreached and under-engaged peoples. That means training leaders to evangelize, make disciples, and plant churches; operating NEATS, our church-planting bible school; and connecting the Western Church with the Church in Africa through prayer, trips, giving, and teaching.

Our US office is in Dallas, Texas. In Africa, we serve in South Sudan, Sudan, and DR Congo.

African leaders lead this work. Our field team is local pastors, church planters, and trainers who know the languages and cultures where they serve. Americans come alongside through prayer, giving, and short-term trips taken at the invitation of our African partners.
