Empower One Women’s Ministry

In the hardest places on earth, African women are leading their communities forward.

The women of Empower One Africa are already doing this work, and you can join them: in prayer, in giving, and on the field.

Who we are

Sisters in one mission

Empower One Women’s Ministry exists to come alongside the women God is raising up across Africa. We pray for them by name, encourage them in their calling, support the ministries they lead, and travel to serve and learn alongside them.

This is more than support from a distance; it is a partnership rooted in faith, friendship, and a shared mission. As we walk together, their courage, resilience, and faith in Christ strengthen and inspire us as well.

Led by the women who live there

Everything in this ministry is shaped by the women leading it on the ground. They know their neighbors, their languages, and the families God has called them to reach. Our part is to follow their lead and stand beside them.

“My heart is to see African women rooted in Christ, transformed by His Word, and empowered to impact generations: women of faith, purpose, and influence for the glory of God across Africa. When a woman is transformed by Christ, a generation is transformed.”

The Lioness Collective

A community of belonging, advocacy, and prayer

The most committed women in this ministry belong to the Lioness Collective, a gathered community standing with the women of Northeast Africa. Together we:

Pray for the women of the field by name

Advocate for them and share their story

Gather monthly over Zoom with women on the field

Encourage one another across the miles

Champion the ministry in their own church or group

His Word, Her Language

A durable, solar-powered audio Bible puts Scripture in a woman’s own language, ready to hear, return to, and share. For many who cannot read, it is the first time they can take in God’s Word on their own.
