Careers at Empower One

Join the team behind the team.

Empower One’s staff is lopsided on purpose: a large African team carrying the field work in South Sudan, Sudan, and DR Congo, and a small U.S. team behind them raising support, telling the story, and keeping the operation running so they can keep planting. Working here means serving a work you will not run, alongside colleagues you may see in person only a few times a year. It also means watching God build his church in some of the hardest places on earth, from closer than most people ever get.

If you’re praying about whether this is your work too, we’d like to hear from you.

Open roles

No openings right now.

Our staff is small and openings are rare. When one comes, it will be listed here. In the meantime, if you believe God may be pointing you toward this work, send your resume to and tell us a little about yourself. We read every one.

Carry the story.

Most of the people who serve Empower One will never be on payroll. Ambassadors are friends of the work who tell its stories in their own churches and living rooms, pray through the weekly list from our African leaders, and introduce the right people to our staff. There is no stage required and no quota. What it takes is genuine love for this work and for the people already in your life, and a willingness to introduce the two to each other.

If that sounds like you, write to us and we’ll get you started.
