we are seeking to share the Good News of Jesus with 1 million people by the end of 2020.
since launching The Unlikely in 2018,
PEOPLE HAVE HEARD THE GOSPEL
God did something we might consider unlikely during the Apostle Paul’s ministry. In the first chapter of Philippians we learn that Paul has been imprisoned in Rome.
Like Paul’s imprisonment, we too are dealing with a horrific situation, and like Paul’s it is actually a huge Gospel opportunity.
Because of war, millions have fled their homes and settled in refugee camps, with over one million South Sudanese now in the camps in Northern Uganda. And yet, it’s this setting that is a prime Gospel opportunity.
The fact that God would redeem this situation would seem most unlikely to the world. Yet we’ve never seen more openness to the Good News of Jesus Christ than in this seemingly hopeless situation. We’ve never had more trained leaders begging to be deployed, and we’ve never seen such fearlessness in our missionaries.
For years we toiled finding, training, shaping and building church leaders. Many of you even helped us as we’ve trained leaders under trees and in our bible school.
North East Africa Theological Seminary
Through NEATS we provide Biblical teaching to train and equip church planters.
Those ready to answer God’s call are sent out to create new churches that serve villages and refugee camps.
Through the use of the Jesus Film and Mobile Evangelism Teams we are spreading the Gospel across North East Africa.
By meeting people’s basic needs, we shine the light of Christ in their community and provide resources to fuel the ministry.
Today we have some of the finest church planters in the world.
We have bible teachers who could teach at any school in the world, and we have missionaries yearning to go farther and deeper into unreached areas with the Gospel.
