Sam Miracle Ochan is married to Lalam and is part of the teaching team at the School of Church Planting. He also travels to host trainings and teach at several of the school’s extension sites.
Sam joined Empower One Africa as a student at the School of Church Planting, formerly known as NEATS. Upon graduating in 2012, he immediately began planting churches all across Kajo Keji County in South Sudan.
“After my graduation, I started seeing God using me in the field. I realized that the theoretical part of what I learned in school ought to be applied in the field. My professors were great and the knowledge they passed on to me did not go in vain.”
Sam has a heart for his native people of South Sudan. After planting four churches, he returned to the School as a teacher. He also has a passion for youth. He conducts seminars for youth workers with the aim of helping them know how to reach more students with the message of Christ.
“The work has not been all that easy, but with God beside me, I believe I can make it!”
