As the Juba Regional Leader, Yanga is tasked with reaching the Bark people and the South Sudanese in the city (Juba) and surrounding areas. He loves discipleship and church planting.

“It is one of my goals to reach the lost and that was my calling. I feel empower One will help me fulfill my calling by joining the journey with them.”

Yanga is South Sudanese. He is from Lobonok which is around Juba, the capital. He is married to Jackline and they have one son, Preston Loro. They also foster three other children. He enjoys farming in his garden and proclaiming the gospel.

He first heard about Jesus through a door-to-door evangelistic outreach. A mission team visits homes sharing the truth about Christ.

“I become a Christian through a pastor who shared Christ with me and the sinfulness of man in Romans 3:23. I was convicted.”

He heard about Empower One Africa in 2014 through a friend. He later was invited to join the Empower One School of Church Planting, formerly known as NEATS. He later joined the Empower One team in 2020.
