David is from Aweil, South Sudan. He was raised Catholic. Later, while in Rumbeck he heard the gospel preached and was convicted to be baptized by immersion. In 2010, Lual felt the Lord was leading him to serve as a pastor. He pastored in a church for a few years before joining a church in Aweil.
“I love hearing a right teaching. Sound doctrine leads us to become captive learners of Christ. I have a strong desire to serve the Lord as stated in 1 Peter 5:2. I wish to freely save souls for His sake.”
David serves as the Deputy Regional Leader for South Sudan. He supports the team through sound teaching and advancing the gospel in Aweil and the surrounding areas.
“Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly.” –1 Peter 5:2 ESV
